<Give Me Your Love, 2023>
<Give Me Your Love, 2023> was an audience-participatory project conducted with residents of Pungnap-dong during my residency at the Songpa Young Artist Center. Using AR programming, the work recognizes a participant’s face and distorts it into an exaggerated, heavily edited appearance—featuring enlarged eyes, a sharply defined jawline, and excessive makeup, resembling an over-photoshopped image. When the participant opens their mouth with an “ah” gesture, the distorted face on the screen shatters and scatters in all directions. As the original face is revealed, a female voice saying “Give me your love” is heard simultaneously.

The filter was uploaded to Instagram so that participants could freely share their experiences through social media, and the resulting videos were archived as part of the project. In the exhibition, lenticular prints displaying the before-and-after states of the filter application were also presented.
